We will be holding our 9th mini-conference during the January 2023 meeting of the Southern Political Science Association.
The conference will focus on the use of experiments (field, survey, lab, or otherwise) to study questions related to political representation, political institutions, and the behavior of political elites. We encourage you to propose a research paper or design proposal that utilizes experiments where political elites are the subjects or where political elites deliver treatments to individual citizens; or volunteer to serve as chair or discussant.
There will be approximately four or five panels. Three or four panels will be devoted to the presentation of completed research papers, and one panel slot will be devoted to the work-shopping research design proposals in small groups.

We have some flexibility with the schedule and can potentially add in late additions. If you are interested in possibly presenting or if you are interested in receiving calls for proposals for future conferences, please email Dan Butler at [email protected] with your information.
